The Office of Campus Safety is in charge of security at the University of Notre Dame. It is made of up four departments: Security Police (NDSP), Fire (NDFD), Risk and Management Safety, and Emergency Preparedness and Business Continuity programs.

The NDSP offers several services including bike registration, parking, crime prevention, safety information and updates, women’s self-defense classes, lost and found, property registration, jump starts, lockout, emergency response, patrol, and security alerts.
