University of the Virgin Islands (out-of-state)

Generally, the University of the Virgin Islands is known for being a non selective school. Approximately 1,870 applications are received by the school every year. The overall acceptance rate is around 99 percent which is equal about 1,860 students who were successful in the admission process of the school. But, when the year starts, only about 300 or 17 percent of the applicants would have chosen the University of the Virgin Islands as their future school. The ratio of the students who applied is 24% and 75% for males and females respectively. However, of the first-year students enrolled, 66% were typically women and 33% were men. the University of the Virgin Islands’s undergraduate application fee is unknown. Prospective students are asked to submit their ACT or SAT scores to the University of the Virgin Islands when filling out the application. Usually, an ACT score of 14 - 18 or a 820 - 980 SAT score is the range that students have greater chances to be accepted. This school also allows submissions of Advanced Placement (AP) credits.
