the University of the Southwest is known for being a somewhat selective school. They receive approximately 15,000 applications each year. The acceptance rate tends to be 76 percent which equates to about 12,000 students who passed the admission process of the school. But, when the term starts, only about 90 or 1% of the applicants who obtained acceptance letter from the University of the Southwest choose to register. The institution’s application data shows that 39 percent of the students who applied are men compared to 60 percent who are women. When the term commences, about 38 percent of those accepted females enrolled at the University of the Southwest and 61 percent were males. Students should submit their ACT or SAT scores to the University of the Southwest when filling out the application.
