The University of the South

The University of the South is known for being a fairly selective school. Approximately 4,700 applications are received by The University of the South annually. With regards to the overall acceptance rate, it tends to be 57 percent which equals about 2,680 students being accepted to the school. However, when the year starts, about 500 students will choose The University of the South as their school of choice. The ratio of the candidates who applied is 47% and 51% for males and females respectively. However, of the first-year students enrolled, 51% were typically women and 48% were men. The undergraduate application fee set by The University of the South is unknown. First-year students are asked to submit their ACT or SAT scores to The University of the South when filling out the application. Often, an ACT score of 26 - 31 or a 1,230 - 1,400 SAT score is the range that students have greater chances to be accepted. This school also allows submissions of Advanced Placement (AP) credits.
