Merrimack College

Merrimack College is known for being a fairly selective school. They receive approximately 17,300 applications each year. The overall acceptance rate tends to be 69 percent which equates to about 12,000 students who passed the admission process of the school. However, when the term starts, only about 1,000 or 8% of the students will have chosen Merrimack College as their school of choice. Based on the application data, 41% of the students were men while 57% were women, however, after receiving the letter of acceptance, only 54 percent of the women chose Merrimack College as compared to 45 percent of men who decided to enroll.
