MIT is a very selective school, choosing to accept only 5 or 1,330 out of 29,000 applicants. By May 2nd, about 86% or 1,150 decide on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as their university of choice.

When applying for this school, it is important to keep an eye on the application process. You are required to submit none, but none is also recommended. Undergraduates will be asked to pay a fee of $75. Applications become available every August for the following year. For SAT combined scores, the range should be 1,520 - 1,570 and for the ACT Composite, 35 - 36.

For Early Action applicants, you must schedule your interview by October 20th. Your forms are due by November 1st and you should expect to hear back around mid-December. Regular Action applicants’ interviews have to be scheduled before December 10th with paperwork due by January 1st. These students can expect to hear a decision by mid-March.

All accepted students must inform the school of their intent to enroll by May 2nd.
