Long Island University

In general, Long Island University is a non selective school. Around 12,400 applications are received by Long Island University each year. The overall acceptance rate is around 90 percent which equals about 11,100 students who passed the admission process of the institution. However, when the semester begins, only about 1,100 or 10 percent of the candidates who earned acceptance letter from Long Island University decide to attend. First-year students should submit their ACT or SAT scores to Long Island University when applying.
