The Curtis Institute of Music has a very high first year retention rate with %% deciding to stay after completing their freshman year. 37% will go on to graduate within four years, 89% within six. Gifted students come from all over the country to attend the institute.
With such a small class size, the student to faculty ratio is to 1, one of the highest in the country. All 90 faculty members are gifted musicians themselves, where they connect students with the lives of a professional musician. Instructors are highly credentialed in musical studies, liberal arts, and career studies. Curtis also regularly plays hosts to world-renowned artists to further a student’s education and experience.
