Andrew Dorsey Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is in memory of Andrew Dorsey, who received his B.S. from UW-Madison in 2000, double-majoring in chemistry and German while researching with Professor Dan Rich. Andrew died in 2001 while pursuing a doctorate at UC-Berkeley. His parents established this scholarship for chemistry students at UW-Madison. This scholarship is one of many available through the Chemistry Undergraduate Scholarships application. To be eligible for a chemistry scholarship, students must be a chemistry major or be conducting research with a chemistry faculty member. An overall GPA of 2.5 is recommended, but not required, for award eligibility; awards are based on both merit and financial need.
