Description: The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Clark County is pleased to announce that the Building Futures Foundation is now accepting applications, and will be awarding academic scholarships this year. The Building Futures Foundation, the educational foundation for the BIA, has promoted public education, student scholarships and environmentally sensitive building practices in the building industry since 2002. Scholarships will be awarded to qualified students pursuing an education in the building, construction and real estate trades at an accredited college, university or trade institution. Selection criteria are financial need, academic relationship to the building industry, community service, grade point average and quality of application submitted. Eligibility: All applicants must live in Clark County, Washington. The Building Futures Foundation scholarship & grant program is for students pursuing a career in the building industry.
