Scholarships within the college are awarded to provide financial support based on need, academic achievement, or other specific scholarship criteria as outlined below. The Courtney Erin Klee Memorial Scholarship was established by the family of Courtney Klee, who graduated with honors in 1991 while battling cancer. She also earned an MBA, awarded posthumously by the Leeds School of Business. Students enrolled in the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information are eligible to apply. Financial need is a consideration. Students with a physical disability or chronic health condition are encouraged to apply; preference given to students studying advertising. Letters of appreciation should be written to recipient 1 Mr. Mark Klee and recipient 2 Mrs. Laura Klee. Applications are reviewed holistically, and selection criteria may include, but is not limited to, academic record, leadership experience, extracurricular involvement, community service, employment, essays, and in some cases, financial need as determined by the FAFSA/CASFA. Essays: Quality of writing and content are weighed heavily.
