The department will award up to $300 to offset the cost of airfare used to travel to a conference to present a sociology paper or poster. Eligibility Criteria: The Travel Awards program assists UCLA sociology majors with travel expenses to enable them to present papers at professional conferences. Students may apply for a grant, on a rolling basis, to fund travel that will occur within the following 6 months. Awards may be used only for transportation costs to and from the conference or place of research. -Be a currently enrolled sociology major at the time of application Application Deadline: Rolling applications throughout the academic year.
