The Claude (Skip) and Joan C. Keyzers Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 by Skip ’59 and Joan ’61 Keyzers to provide scholarship support to undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need. Upon receipt of the distribution of the remainder of the gift annuity, upon the Annuitants’ deaths, the Regents shall transfer the full amount to the UCLA Foundation, to establish the Claude (Skip) and Joan C. Keyzers Endowed Scholarship Fund. Donors understand that the remainder interest, along with any additional gift through the donors’ estate, must meet UCLA’s required endowment minimum at the time it is received. Should the total gift be insufficient to meet the required minimum for the endowment , then the total gift shall create a current expenditure fund to be named Claude (Skip) and Joan C. Keyzers Endowed Scholarship Fund to support the activity as described above.
