Liberal Arts Career Services is excited to offer scholarships to selected pre-law students entering law school in the upcoming Fall semester. Scholarship funding must be used for: -LSAT registration, -CAS registration and -application fees for pre-law students applying to law schools. Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each will be granted to selected recipients. Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply: -degree seeking undergraduate UT Austin student; -must have demonstrated financial need -plans to or has already taken the LSAT and apply/applied to law schools during the current Fall - Spring admissions cycle -committed to starting law school in the upcoming Fall semester We also recommend that all students check with the financial aid office regarding how accepting this scholarship could potentially affect their financial aid package. Selected recipients will receive $1000 in one disbursement at the beginning of February. Prior to receiving the scholarship disbursement, recipients will be required to submit a thank you letter describing how this scholarship helps your law school admissions process.
