Amount: Up to $5,000 per year, renewable. Criteria: This scholarship is intended to recognize students' achievements outside of the classroom – their extraordinary and exemplary talents, their ability to overcome obstacles, and their initiative and tenacity. These scholarships are applicable to tuition only; restrictions may apply. Requirements for consideration: Apply and be academically admitted to Kettering University by 11:59 p.m. on March 1. Two letters of recommendation (no family members, please). Names, phone numbers and email addresses of references must be included, for verification purposes. An essay (500-1000 words) about a particular endeavor, award, or accomplishment that distinguishes you outside of the classroom. Demonstrated financial need will also be a consideration. U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to submit a FAFSA.
