The Michael A. Lorber-Stella V. Henderson, Mu Chapter, Kappa Delta Pi Scholarship Award Endowment was created in 2009 by Kappa Delta Epsilon, Kappa Delta Pi, and friends of Stella Henderson to encourage members of the Mu Chapter, Kappa Delta Pi, to think about how they can implement the honor society's ideals of Fidelity to Humanity, Science, Service, and Toil in their practices as an educator. -Renewable: No -Need-based: No -Essay: Please describe your involvement with the Mu Chapter-Kappa Delta Pi at Illinois State University and discuss how it better prepared you to become a teacher. Additionally, please discuss your future goals and education aspirations. -Class: Undergraduate, graduate -Major: Teacher Education -Preferences: Should be active members of Mu Chapter, Kappa Delta Pi, at Illinois State University. If no member submits an application, or if a non-member submits an essay that is clearly superior to one submitted by a Mu Chapter member, the scholarship may be award -Additional Preferences: Plan to become an educator in the teaching profession Current Students: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by March 31) Currently enrolled students in a teacher education major are eligible.
