Amount: $1,000 Established by: This award was established in 1994 to honor Mrs. Virginia McGarvey, a prominent resident of Fullerton and a dedicated supporter of Cal State Fullerton, Associated Students, and the student body. Mrs. McGarvey was recognized as a humanitarian who devoted a large portion of her life to helping others. Undergraduate, Graduate, or Credential student. Must have completed a minimum of one semester at CSUF and be a continuing student enrolled in the next semester/term. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (Undergraduate) or 3.0 (Graduate/Credential). Applicants will be evaluated based on: Demonstrated involvement and commitment to service, on campus or in the community, reflecting Mrs. McGarvey's humanitarian spirit. The connection between the service experience and personal/academic growth described in the required essay. Academic achievement (minimum GPA requirement met).
